Just one of those Situations...

"Oh...!" was the first word I uttered this morning...when a Sharp Ringing sound pierced the silence my ears were enjoying a few seconds before...it (the clock) said Loud and clear... 10:30 AM ! Wow...that was one good voyage I had...though I hardly remember even a bit of it, so here it was, another Sunday...brings joy to most and gloominess to some...the daily chores were done...and I was on to the next...nothing like a good ol' Coffee...with a sprinkled bit of cocoa...and add to that a Good company of Crisp Piece of Toast.

While all this is enjoyable and the first whiff of coffee wakes my conscience...I picked up the daily and ran my eyes through the Headlines...nothing much was different...the same old stuff...Terrorists, Disease, Greed, Power all shouting and spelling that one word...the word we all come to terms with one day or the next...

I decided not to make a bad start to my day and flipped through the pages in search of something more constructive...something that adds more to life...this was difficult...the writers these days are also running out of topics that are different and find it difficult not to relate their topics to anything that's different than the headlines itself...my coffee was almost over...as i sipped on the last drops of the remains...I saw a column on "Space Walkers"...It was about China...being the third country after U.S of A and the then U.S.S.R to have conducted a success full Space walk... Bravo !

But that wasn't it...that small column...spoke much more than this...apart from the much highlighted effort and the striving that the crew of china made to this achievement...it spoke of a situation which most of us face at least once in our lives...in one form or the other...there were about 14 Team members who were destined to achieve this Feat, to do their country Proud...but out of these 14 members only 6 Members could do this...the reason being the others were either too old or were just not ready to get there...they were asked to either look for other jobs or go back home...so whats the Big deal about this...? they failed right ? there is no place for failures...!

That's what you and me might think of at first and dispose off this piece of news...but that's not the case here...it surely is more than this hypothetical assumption... these 14 members all had passed through Years (6-7 yrs) of Space Training and learning's...they had been through the ups and downs together and all had passed the tests and various feats which are required to get there...but when it finally came down to the division bell...it played a different tune...the other 8 members were not failures or had not failed on any testing grounds...yet their destiny was different...ask one of them who was given a reason of "Too Old for this..." he would probably say..."my age is not a judge of my Will and Power"... should it be ? I say no...If we were to count our abilities on our age...we would Limit our Chances ...but that's how I see it.

This is just one of the situation that leaves one staring at the odds in the face and your conscience screaming inside of your head "Nothing I did was wrong...yet I was made to lose what I cherish"...what should and what could one do in this situation ? you have all but two choices... "Give up" or "Give up, but not Give in"... the reason I speak of the second one is cause in such situations I might never be able to Space Walk ever again...but that does not stop me from flying into the Space...situations like these arise every now and then in our lives...but we can always measure up and re-measure our chances to achieve that ultimate Goal in our lives...in one way or the other... ! "So Dream...Believe...Strive...for the fire that Burns within...shall Measure up to the Light of the Sun...and shall Light up the Road to Glory for the others to follow you in the Dark...!"
